Bålsta Studio Houses is a local, family-owned business. We offer cosy studio houses with plenty of space for people who need to be in Bålsta for work, in transit, or are visiting friends and family. We are not a hotel or BnB. Our houses are an alternative for those who need a place to stay in Bålsta, but do not want to stay in a hotel or share their space with others. Our aim is to provide people with an experience of a home away from home at Bålsta studio houses.
We are in a quaint and peaceful area in Old Bålsta. We are only five minutes walking distance to bus stops, restaurants, hairdressers, boutiques, a grocery store, and the local cinema. These modern studio houses have a very distinct Scandinavian design, earthy colours, beautiful natural materials, and environmentally friendly stonecrop roofs.
My name is Brenda Berglund. I met my husband, Lars, 20 years ago in Dubai. I am from Queensland, Australia, and moved to Bålsta in 2002, where we now live with our beautiful children and our lovely dog Ruby.
We discovered very early in our relationship that we shared a common interest in traveling and that we both dreamed of one day running our very own Full Serviced apartments..
We decided to turn our dream into reality. Our idea was to rent out small houses to people who are in Bålsta for work, in transit, or visiting friends and family. We got help from Håbo municipality to find an appropriate block of land. At long last, after years of planning and dreaming, we are finally up and running.
